VP Data Management – Healthcare & Life Sciences

Type: Direct Hire

Work Location: Remote

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or IT or 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse implementations, and enterprise data management.
  • 8+ years working with Healthcare and Life Science organizations, either in consulting or directly.
  • 3+ years in technical architecture or project management.
  • Experience leading project and development teams in complex system implementations.
  • Ability to sell services related to data management and analytics.
  • Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office applications.
  • Experience with sales and pre-sales processes in a consulting environment.
  • Strong skills in creating and managing project plans, including estimation, task identification, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Leadership skills to guide teams in delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and management of complex dependencies.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and build influence with client management.
  • Effective presentation skills to senior management and large groups.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills for unencountered issues.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and technology/tools used in EDM solutions.
  • Flexibility to modify methodologies to fit client needs and maintain profitability.
  • Effective communication in various settings with different audiences.
  • Capability to conduct internal training and resolve conflicts within accounts.
Big Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience with master data management and data governance.
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines and methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum, Kanban.
  • Experience overseeing project teams of 5-20 people.
Job Overview

The VP Data Management – Healthcare & Life Sciences manages client relationships, oversees account strategies, and ensures client satisfaction.
