Job summary

EXL seeks a seasoned Vice President to lead engagements in Banking and Capital Markets. The role anchors advisory, technology, and operations, driving client engagement and revenue growth across U.S. client sites.

This leader will coordinate global teams, mentor staff, and stay ahead of regulatory and market trends, including GDPR, BCBS239, and Mifid II. Frequent travel to client sites in the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in banking, capital markets, or financial consulting.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
• Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar accounts and driving revenue growth.
• Strong expertise in technical design discussions and strategic consulting for large-scale engagements.
• Deep expertise in banking and capital markets operations including trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships in banking and capital markets; act as the primary contact for strategic discussions.
• Lead the creation and delivery of technical proposals tailored to client needs with cross-functional input.
• Monitor performance and growth of assigned accounts, tracking metrics like client satisfaction and delivery timelines.
• Drive revenue expansion through upsell/cross-sell opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration across advisory, technology, and operations to ensure cohesive delivery; mentor junior staff.
