Job summary

Provident in Dallas, TX is seeking a Vice President, Construction Management to lead ground-up data center developments from pre-construction through turnover.

This owner-side role requires strong P6 scheduling, cost control, and coordination with GC, MEP, and design teams, with travel up to 50%.

You will oversee multi-site projects across the United States and mentor project teams within a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or closely related discipline; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 7 years in construction management/preconstruction, with 4+ years in data center/mission-critical projects.
• Owner's representative experience preferred; GC/CM at-risk acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up data center construction from design through commissioning and handover.
• Serve as owner's representative at site meetings with GC, MEP, commissioning agents, and utilities.
• Review schedules (P6/MS Project), identify risks, and drive recovery actions.
• Coordinate with design engineers and specialty consultants on electrical and mechanical systems.
