Job summary

HarperCollins Publishers is seeking a Vice President, Data to lead data infrastructure and analytics across North America. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and proven leadership in complex data environments. They will be responsible for modernizing the data architecture and aligning it with business needs.

This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience with Microsoft’s cloud data platform. A comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary range of $240,000-$260,000 are included.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Data and Analytics roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading data teams with ERP data.
• Proven ability to devise strategic goals in complex environments.
• Capability to communicate data value to diverse audiences.
• Experience with data modeling, pipelines, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a data function for HarperCollins across North America.
• Design the organization for accelerated delivery and scalability.
• Engage with senior leadership to align business and data strategy.
• Oversee data transformation, migrating solutions to the Fabric platform.
• Manage vendor partners for specialized skills and knowledge.
