Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Vice President of Cybersecurity Controls & Compliance to lead enterprise governance, risk, and compliance programs across PCI DSS, SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and privacy requirements. This hybrid role reports to the SVP of Governance, Risk & Compliance and drives scalable, data-driven cyber risk management with executive oversight.

You will partner with Legal, Privacy, IT, Audit, Product, and Risk teams, and lead a global team to improve control effectiveness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, governance, or audit leadership.
• 7+ years leading global teams in cybersecurity programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise cybersecurity governance and compliance strategy.
• Establish governance processes and metrics for executive visibility.
• Oversee global cybersecurity compliance programs and regulatory examinations.
• Lead audits, assessments, and remediation of findings and control deficiencies.
• Drive risk assessments and incident escalation with cross-functional partners.
• Modernize governance with automation and AI-enabled processes.
