Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Risk Management and Compliance is seeking a Credit Risk Vice President to manage a diversified technology, media and telecommunications portfolio.

You will lead credit assessments, structure financing, and ensure adherence to risk policies while collaborating with business teams to balance risk and return. You will present quarterly snapshots to senior management, mentor analysts, and work with middle office and data teams to ensure data integrity in credit systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of commercial/investment banking lending experience.
• Strong understanding of financial products, corporate finance and market dynamics.
• Experience with credit agreements and ISDA/CSA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify key risk factors across an assigned portfolio and develop forward-looking risk assessments.
• Lead or participate in client due diligence to understand management and industry sectors.
• Apply corporate finance expertise to develop financing structures and review credit materials.
• Review and negotiate legal documentation to ensure terms match credit approval.
• Ensure accurate risk ratings and proactive management of deteriorating credits.
• Prepare quarterly financial snapshots and annual portfolio reviews for senior management.
• Assist in training analysts and coordinate with data teams to ensure data accuracy.
