Job summary

Moody’s is seeking a VP- Credit Rating Methodology Development in New York to lead low and medium methodology projects, coordinating across teams to ensure robustness and transparency. You will author methodology documents meeting standards and assist with regulatory submissions, using Agile principles.

You will collaborate with MMDG and CSS teams, apply AI concepts to streamline workflows while maintaining responsible AI use, and contribute to publishing rating methodologies globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in economics, finance, business, or other quantitative field preferred
• CFA designation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead low and medium methodology development projects and collaborate across teams to ensure analytical robustness and transparency.
• Lead projects using Agile principles to develop sector and cross-sector methodologies and assessment frameworks
• Collaborate with MMDG teams, other CSS teams and rating teams to ensure analytical robustness and transparency
• Author methodology documents that meet internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare submission packages for Methodology Review Group approval
• Assist with ad-hoc quantitative and analytical projects
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
