Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company seeks a Vice President, Investment Accounting, Credit Funds Controller to lead accounting for the firm’s credit funds. You will supervise a specialized team, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and partner with CAO, CIO, and investors.

You will drive automation with AI/data analytics tools, manage external auditors, and coordinate with tax, legal, and investor relations to optimize fund performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 or national firm preferred.
• Strong GAAP, fund accounting, investor reporting experience.
• Ability to interface with institutional investors and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close for credit funds; review fund-level financials.
• Manage relationship with third-party fund administrator and NAVs.
• Lead automation efforts to improve close and reporting processes.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards and analysis for leadership.
