Crown Advisors seeks a VP, Commercial Real Estate Originations to lead the Western region (Dallas to California coast). You will drive originations strategy, manage a team of 4–5 mortgage originators, and partner with Head of Real Estate Investments to shape portfolio quality and growth.

The role requires a minimum of 15 years in CRE finance or related investment, a proven track record closing large mortgage loans across core, bridge, construction, and mezzanine, plus strong leadership,

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MSRE or similar advanced designation preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of commercial real estate finance, mortgage lending, or institutional investment experience.
• Proven track record originating and closing significant commercial mortgage loan volume across multiple debt products (core, bridge, construction, mezz).
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing originators, underwriters, or investment professionals.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial real estate markets, underwriting, valuation, risk management, and loan structuring.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
• Advanced negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, including experience presenting to investment committees and senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute mortgage loan origination strategy for regional territory to achieve production, yield, and portfolio objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of mortgage originators, analysts, and support professionals.
• Establish territory priorities, business development initiatives, and relationship management strategies.
• Collaborate with senior investment leadership to identify investment opportunities and market trends.
• Maintain accountability for regional production goals, portfolio quality, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Represent the organization within the commercial real estate and institutional lending communities.
