Job summary

The Town Lake Company is seeking a VP of Acquisitions to own the front end of the acquisitions process, sourcing and underwriting deals across shallow bay industrial, retail, office, and multifamily assets. Reporting to the Director of Investments, you will manage broker relationships, cold outreach, and direct sourcing to maintain a robust deal funnel.

You will lead initial underwriting, structure deals, and coordinate due diligence and transaction execution with the investment team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, business, accounting, or economics preferred.
• 8+ years of CRE acquisitions experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Proven track record of sourcing, underwriting, and closing CRE acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate commercial real estate investments across shallow bay industrial, retail, office, and multifamily.
• Serve as the company’s point person with investment sales brokers and manage day-to-day broker relationships.
• Cold call owners to uncover off-market and direct acquisition opportunities.
• Lead marketing and business development for acquisitions and support property investments.
• Prepare offers and lead negotiations of LOIs and purchase agreements.
