Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of large agency and/or public relations experience.
• Demonstrated record in building client relationships and delivering programs.
• Proven track record in growing business.
• Demonstrated experience as a team leader.
• Direct experience building and managing teams with integrated agency teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact to foster relationships and trust.
• Provide strategic guidance on program strategy and executive visibility.
• Lead account teams to act in the best interest of the client.
• Troubleshoot client issues and escalate as needed.
• Motivate and develop team members; promote training opportunities.
• Represent the agency in client meetings; identify collaboration opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong writing/editing for programs, proposals, press materials.
• Develop communication and presentation skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Manage account finances including budgets, billing, and profits.
• Collaborate with teams to grow incremental business.
• Communicate account status to agency leadership regularly.
• Participate in new business programs and presentations.
