Job summary

Vantage Group Holdings is seeking an experienced Vice President, Corporate Counsel to advise on corporate governance, contractual, data privacy and employment matters affecting re/insurance operations. You will counsel leaders across Finance, Operations, and Technology and report to the Deputy General Counsel in a fast-growing, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• 10–15 years of counsel experience in corporate law, ideally in insurance/reinsurance.
• Experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law and/or employment law is a plus.
• Superior writing and language comprehension skills.
• Strong analytical acumen and business-minded advice.
• Proven time management, leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory, legal and operational guidance to leaders across the business on corporate, financial, cybersecurity, data privacy, employment and tax matters.
• Draft Board resolutions and coordinate communications with Board and shareholders.
• Review financial statements, management letters, and audit materials for accuracy.
• Advise on technology matters including cybersecurity and AI.
• Lead vendor contract reviews and risk management coordination.
• Support risk management with risk assessment and controls.
• Assist with regulatory filings and corporate disclosures as needed.
• Support legal due diligence for transactions, mergers and acquisitions.
