Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a senior-level VP, Corporate Counsel to provide legal guidance on hyperscale data center leasing transactions and general corporate matters. This role operates across the business with outside counsel, building scalable structures to accelerate deal execution.

You’ll draft and negotiate leases, joint ventures, and related agreements, while shaping the contracting engine for a high-growth data center developer.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of relevant experience across large firms and in-house roles.
• 5+ years negotiating hyperscale and enterprise data center leases.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate data center leases, MSAs and related agreements.
• Structure deals including joint ventures and land purchases with term sheets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external counsel.
• Develop scalable templates, playbooks and clause libraries.
• Manage outside counsel budgets and deliverables.
