Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a senior-level VP, Corporate Counsel to provide legal guidance for data center leasing transactions with hyperscalers and to support corporate governance matters. The role sits across Seattle or Denver with a fast-paced environment and high-impact responsibilities.

You will lead drafting and negotiation of leases, MSAs, joint ventures, and related contracts; build scalable processes; manage outside counsel; and align legal with business strategy to drive execution.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including large law firm and in-house roles.
• 5+ years negotiating hyperscale and enterprise data center leases.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate data center agreements (leases, MSAs, LOIs, NDAs).
• Structure deals including joint ventures, land purchases, and leasing terms.
• Build scalable legal infrastructure with templates and clause libraries.
• Manage outside counsel with scoping, supervision and budgets.
• Support compliance, risk management and vendor agreements as needed.
