Job summary

Learfield IMG College is seeking a Vice President of Content Strategy & Distribution to own content strategy, creative direction, and content operations across a portfolio of collegiate athletic properties, with a focus on expanding Learfield’s content capabilities across the Big Ten.

This senior role sets the vision for content creation, distribution, and monetization and leads teams embedded in athletic departments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in content, media, sports, entertainment, or related field.
• Proven leadership of distributed content teams across multiple properties, markets, or organizations.
• Strong analytics using platforms like Zoomph, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio.
• Willingness to travel overnight regularly to partner schools, industry events, and key meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall content vision and strategy across a portfolio of collegiate athletic properties, with focus on Big Ten.
• Partner with NIL and athlete marketing teams to develop student-athlete content strategies and commercial opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of content leaders, producers, creators, and social specialists.
• Build relationships with athletic department leadership and stakeholders to serve as senior content partner.
• Develop clear content strategies for each property based on brand, audience, priorities, and commercial objectives.
• Grow audience engagement, content inventory, social performance, and revenue.
