Job summary

Learfield is seeking a Vice President, Content Strategy & Distribution to set the vision for content across a portfolio of collegiate athletic properties, with a particular emphasis on the Big Ten. The role leads a distributed team embedded within athletic departments and partners with school leadership, revenue teams, and brand partners to create, distribute, and monetize content.

Qualifications

15+ years in content, media, sports, entertainment, or related field.
Experience leading content teams and developing content strategies for major brands or sports properties.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills with distributed teams.
Experience with analytics platforms and social/video platforms (e.g., Zoomph, Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
Understanding of college athletics and sports media landscape.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall content vision and strategy across a portfolio of collegiate properties, with a focus on Big Ten.
Partner with NIL, athlete marketing, and school teams to develop student-athlete content strategies.
Develop and mentor a distributed team of content leaders embedded in partner departments.
Establish content KPIs and measurement frameworks; translate insights into recommendations.
Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to develop high-value branded content opportunities.
