Job summary

Learfield seeks a visionary Vice President of Content Strategy & Distribution to lead content strategy, creative direction, and operations across its collegiate athletic properties. The role drives how content is created, distributed, and monetized, partnering with schools, brands, and revenue teams.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in content/media, strong leadership, and a track record of turning audience engagement into business results.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in content, media, sports, or related field.
Experience leading content teams and developing strategies for major brands or sports properties.
Ability to translate audience engagement into business results and to mentor distributed teams.
Strong understanding of social platforms, digital video, streaming, and emerging formats.
Proven ability to work with senior executives, clients, and athletic department leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall content vision and strategy across collegiate properties, focusing on Big Ten schools.
Develop student-athlete content strategies with NIL, athlete marketing, and school teams.
Build and mentor a distributed team of content leaders, producers, and creators.
Create scalable content strategies and KPI measurement frameworks across properties.
