Job summary

WSP is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the Southeast US. You will provide expert CPM scheduling (via Primavera) to support rail transit programs, develop integrated schedules, and coordinate with designers, contractors, and third parties.

The role requires 12 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, strong forecasting and risk analysis, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of experience in developing and managing construction schedules for large programs.
• Experience with critical path method analysis and Primavera.
• Strong forecasting and change-order analysis skills.
• Effective communication with cross-functional teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert CPM scheduling using Primavera to support rail transit projects.
• Develop integrated program schedules with input from designers, contractors, and third parties.
• Assess and resolve schedule changes, delays, and scope changes.
• Coordinate reporting, identify risks, and create accurate forecasts.
• Develop, update, and analyze detailed execution schedules for multiple projects.
• Establish baseline schedules with durations, logic, resources, and costs.
• Review CPM updates and produce comparison reports.
• Perform Earned Value analyses and change-order reviews.
• Conduct time impact analyses to gauge delay impacts.
• Recommend recovery options and run what-if scenarios.
