Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking a software engineering professional to partner with sponsors, users, and engineering teams across divisions to create end-to-end solutions. You will work with Java, Python, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, test coverage, and production readiness.

You will design, implement, and maintain software across our products, leveraging Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, and Kubernetes, while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and/or Python development.
• Experience in automated testing and SDLC concepts.
• Ability to clearly express ideas in meetings and on paper.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate globally with sponsors, users and engineers to design end-to-end solutions.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate code generation, testing and debugging.
• Design surveillance processes to identify risks and improve software quality.
• Prototype solutions rapidly and productionize AI-generated outputs with strong security and reliability.
• Work across life cycle stages from design to deployment and maintenance.
