Job summary

Florence Bank seeks a Commercial Lender/VP (West Springfield/Remote) to lead commercial lending efforts in western Massachusetts and the Hartford area. The role offers a salaried, full-time position with a salary range of $125,888 to $230,000 per year, plus benefits and advancement opportunities.

Expect to direct credit activities, assess applicants, approve loans, and manage portfolios from the Main Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively increasing responsible commercial lending experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, or related area.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates commercial credit activities for profitable lending.
• Interview applicants to assess creditworthiness and negotiate terms.
• Approve loans within authorized limits and manage large or complex portfolios.
• Maintain loan documentation, monitor performance, renewals, and workouts as needed.
• Develop lending policies aligned with bank objectives and growth.
