Job summary

Superior Choice Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Lending to lead strategy, oversee underwriting, and drive responsible loan growth across SCCU's commercial portfolio.

You will partner with executive leadership to develop lending policies, pricing, product development, and portfolio management while ensuring compliance, superior service, and strong relationships with members and business partners.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of commercial lending experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job‑specific experience.
• Experience with lending software and financial institutions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lending products, pricing, underwriting, and credit quality.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with sound judgment and independence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and lending‑related systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor commercial lending operations to meet goals.
• Develop and implement lending policies, pricing, and strategy.
• Lead product development and lending initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, and lending trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Prepare department updates, reports, and budget input.
• Support sales goals and build strong member and community relationships.
• Foster a high-performing lending culture aligned with SCCU’s values.
