Job summary

iCapital is seeking a senior cloud architect who blends big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. The role focuses on AWS, Kubernetes, and web infrastructure to build and improve core compute, core network, and edge systems, while enabling scalable, automation-first platforms.

You will onboard services, establish connectivity, troubleshoot traffic flows, and enforce consistent networking patterns across environments.

Qualifications

8+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering with architectural responsibility
Hands-on Kubernetes production experience with autoscaling and EKS security
Deep AWS networking knowledge including VPC design, routing, and scale planning

Responsibilities

Design and continually improve Kubernetes architecture and manage cluster lifecycle
Integrate new self-hosted and SaaS services with architectural guidance
Manage Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, and external connectivity with edge and TLS strategies (Akamai, Cloudflare)
Produce and maintain reference architectures, design documents, and guardrails
Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure practical platform standards
