Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Leader in Engineering to design, develop, and deliver core services of the Prisma Access platform.

You will guide a team of cloud infrastructure engineers, driving multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments and automation. You’ll collaborate across development, DevOps, and security, establish best practices for container orchestration and SRE, and focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency in AWS, GCP, and OCI.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading large, distributed engineering organizations
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI)
• Experience with Helm, Terraform, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or Flux
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cloud infrastructure engineers.
• Architect, scale multi-cloud deployments and Kubernetes clusters for mission-critical applications.
• Define Kubernetes security, networking, and governance best practices; improve monitoring and alerting.
• Work cross-functionally with development, DevOps, and security teams to streamline deployments and reliability.
• Oversee incident response, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
