Job summary

Premier Research seeks a Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology to lead the Consulting Leadership team. You will guide strategic and operational direction for the clinical pharmacology group, oversee project design, budgets, and staffing, and ensure high-quality services across client programs.

You will interact with FDA and regulators, mentor scientists, contribute to business development, and help drive revenue growth while maintaining scientific excellence and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in clinical pharmacology studies/programs for biologics and small molecules.
• Knowledge of 505(b)(2) programs and regulatory requirements for biologics, gene therapy, and/or vaccines is highly desired.
• Demonstrated scientific writing and editing skills.
• Ability to travel 10-15%, including inter-office travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the clinical pharmacology team including planning, budgeting, recruiting, and leading the team.
• Oversee design, delivery, and scope of integrated or stand-alone clinical pharmacology services to meet needs of current and prospective clients.
• Develops and implements plans and objectives to drive revenue and gross margin growth in alignment with corporate strategy, plans, and goals.
• Interact with FDA and other regulatory health authorities as part of drug development meetings and mentor other scientists and sponsors for FDA meetings.
