Job summary

BNY in Houston seeks a Vice President, Client Operations – CLO Reporting to lead reporting on Collateralized Loan Obligations. You will partner with Analytics, Operations, and Client Service to ensure accurate, timely communication for internal stakeholders and investors.

You will own portfolio compliance and waterfall models, collaborate with clients on test results, and drive data quality while coordinating with the broader team to support the firm’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in CLO, structured finance, or fixed-income reporting preferred.
• Proficiency in VBA/SQL is valuable.
• No direct reports; provides guidance to junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Own and run portfolio compliance and waterfall models, delivering quality first drafts to the Client Service Manager.
• Collaborate with clients to agree on test results, including discussions on inputs and parameters.
• Resolve basic modeling issues during the reporting cycle and coordinate with Analytics for significant model changes.
• Engage Position Services to resolve exceptional data issues identified during the reporting cycle.
• Serve as liaison between Position Servicing and the Client Service Manager to ensure smooth communication and task coordination.
• Incorporate client and auditor feedback on test results into reporting processes.
