Job summary

Unbound is seeking a Vice President of Catholic Outreach to lead strategy and growth of a major outreach channel. You will oversee a team of ~19, driving sponsorship growth and diocesan engagement while aligning with executive leadership and the Board to accelerate impact worldwide.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-informed decisions to reach Unbound’s 2030 goals, with a strong focus on mission alignment and Catholic engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including leading teams and complex initiatives.
• 5+ years in fundraising, sales, or business development.
• Proven ability to translate vision into measurable results.
• Experience building high-performing, accountable teams with collaboration.
• Track record of driving organizational growth and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership with executive audiences.
• Experience with Catholic Church or Catholic-aligned institutions preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, theology, ministry, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to expand Catholic Outreach reach and impact.
• Grow parish and diocesan engagement, sponsorship acquisition, and events.
• Set objectives, KPIs, and accountability across the Catholic Outreach team.
• Translate vision into actionable priorities and ensure execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Philanthropy, Operations, Data Insights, and International Programs.
• Present strategy and performance updates to leadership and the Board.
