Job summary
University Health in San Antonio seeks a visionary Vice President of Cardiovascular Services to lead the Heart & Vascular Service Line across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings.
You will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial stewardship while partnering with physicians and executive leadership to advance LVAD and heart transplant programs and deliver exceptional patient care in a rapidly expanding region.
Qualifications
- BSN is required with Texas RN license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible executive leadership in acute care or integrated health system.
- Experience as hospital administrator with cardiovascular service line operations, including LVAD and Heart Transplant programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cardiovascular service line strategy.
- Lead program development and expansion across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings.
- Provide executive oversight of advanced cardiovascular programs, including LVAD and Heart Transplant services.
- Partner with cardiovascular physician leaders to strengthen clinical integration and program growth.
- Oversee budgeting, capital planning, forecasting, and ROI initiatives.
- Foster innovation, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
