University Health in San Antonio, TX, seeks a visionary Vice President of Cardiovascular Services to lead the Heart & Vascular Service Line across the full continuum of care. You will develop strategy, align physicians, drive growth, and oversee LVAD and Heart Transplant programs in a growing academic health system.

Reporting to the executive team, you will guide operational excellence, financial stewardship, and quality outcomes while expanding cardiovascular services across multiple hospitals

Formación

• RN license in Texas (or eligible) with valid BSN.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible executive leadership in an acute care setting.
• Experience as hospital administrator with CV service line operations, finances, and physician partnerships.
• Extensive leadership overseeing LVAD and Heart Transplant programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a comprehensive CV service line strategy.
• Lead program development and expansion across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings.
• Provide executive oversight of LVAD and Heart Transplant services.
• Partner with cardiovascular physician leaders to strengthen clinical integration and growth.
• Oversee budgeting, capital planning, forecasting, and ROI initiatives.
• Utilize market analytics to guide strategic decisions.
• Develop outreach and market growth strategies to increase access and share.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.
