Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Data Scientist Lead on the Credit Card Decision Sciences Team in New York. You will guide analytics, own engagement from consultation to results, and work with cross-functional partners to influence strategic initiatives.

Leading a 5+ person team, you’ll design experiments, translate insights into actions, and advance AI-enabled analytics across campaigns and products. Strong communication and stakeholder skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as business, finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics.
• 7+ years of experience producing advanced analytics in marketing, financial products or credit cards.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau) for exploration and performance evaluation.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with all management levels.
• Familiarity with AI tools and ability to tackle open-ended technical problems with minimal guidance.
• Outstanding stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5+ Data Scientists and Visualization experts and set analytics strategy.
• Develop a robust test-and-learn agenda to inform decisions and drive progress.
• Segment customers to identify growth opportunities and measure portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with Rewards, Brand and Analytics teams to support business objectives.
• Evaluate business-case analytics for rewards investments and campaigns.
• Communicate analysis results and recommendations to management.
• Drive campaign design, tracking and strategy across cards.
• Leverage Snowflake and AI-enabled tools to scale insight delivery.
