Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Vice President, Capital Formation & Communications for a leading private credit investment firm in NYC. This role drives investor engagement, fundraising support, brand development, and external communications at a strategic level.

You will lead capital formation, investor relations, marketing and analytics efforts, develop investor campaigns and pitch books, oversee digital marketing and social media, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, onsite NYC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military service equivalent.
• 5–7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, investor relations, capital formation, or related function within investment management, private credit, private equity, or financial services.
• Proven experience developing investor-facing materials and executing marketing campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Professional presence and ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders and investors.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising and investor engagement initiatives with senior leadership and the investment team.
• Develop and coordinate investor-facing campaigns and communications.
• Create and maintain pitch books, investor presentations, fundraising materials, and virtual data room content.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors and other external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance investor outreach and engagement strategies.
• Support a digital-first marketing strategy and ensure branding consistency across materials.
• Manage presentations, marketing collateral, and advertising assets; draft high-quality content.
• Oversee social media content calendars, LinkedIn campaigns, and performance reporting.
• Create and distribute investor communications and email marketing campaigns; manage distribution lists.
• Track marketing metrics using Salesforce and Google Analytics; develop dashboards and reporting for leadership.
• Serve as project manager for fundraising and marketing initiatives; mentor junior staff.
