Job summary

Galaxy is seeking a VP, Campus Construction Manager for the Helios campus in Texas. You will lead a senior team, owning construction execution from preconstruction through turnover, for multiple phases and a site workforce potentially exceeding 2,000.

You will set standards for safety, cost control, and schedule performance, coordinating with EHS, operations, and executives to deliver world-class infrastructure on time.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience delivering large-scale mission-critical projects.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multiple project leaders or concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-phase or campus-scale developments.
• Deep understanding of construction delivery models (including GMP) and risk management.
• Technical fluency across MEP, commissioning, civil, and structural systems.
• Experience with OFCI equipment integration and commissioning.
• Strong cost control, change management, and schedule analysis.
• Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Campus Construction Team across active and future phases.
• Own campus-level delivery and resolve cross-phase conflicts.
• Manage schedule, progress, and critical-path threats; direct mitigation plans.
• Drive safety culture and partner with EHS to sustain a zero-incident environment.
• Oversee contractors and trade partners; ensure milestone alignment and safety.
• Control cost and change; oversee pay apps, change orders, budgets, and reporting.
• Coordinate OFCI procurement/logistics to ensure timely equipment arrival and installation.
• Lead commissioning and turnover with operations; ensure systematic testing and closeout.
• Ensure QA/QC standards and escalate quality issues when needed.
• Advance lean, prefabrication, and lessons learned for repeatable phases.
• Manage regulatory/community relationships; ensure permits and codes.
