Job summary

FM, a leading mutual insurer, seeks a senior leader to expand Builders Risk and construction capabilities, establishing the strategic foundation, underwriting framework, product direction, and portfolio management to build a market-leading practice. You will work across FM's business units, geographies, and industries to align risk and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited program.
10+ years of commercial property/Builders Risk underwriting experience.
Experience with large, complex construction projects ($1B+).
Strong ability to develop underwriting strategies and portfolio management frameworks.
Proven leadership across underwriting, engineering and claims.

Responsibilities

Define market position and engineering-led value in Builders Risk.
Lead development of differentiated Builders Risk solutions for mission-critical projects.
Create underwriting frameworks, authorities, and risk selection strategies.
Monitor portfolio performance and steer growth with governance.
