Job summary

State Street seeks a senior product leader to own the AWS Cloud Platform product within the TPEO function. You will shape strategic plans and the product roadmap, partnering with platform engineering to embed product thinking and drive shared ownership without disrupting delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/CE/CIS/IS/MIS or engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 15+ years IT with 5+ years in product management for an IT platform, 3+ years in leadership
• Good working knowledge of any cloud (AWS, GCP, etc.) and fundamentals of compute, networking, security, storage
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53, CSA CCM 4.0, NIST CSF and GDPR/DORA regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience using Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap for the AWS cloud platform
• Lead evolution toward a product-centric model with incremental, stable changes
• Build trusted partnerships with platform engineering to co-create the product operating model
• Balance transformation goals with organizational maturity and risk
• Enable teams to adopt product practices, roadmaps, backlogs, and customer feedback loops
• Establish engagement mechanisms to refine platform priorities and measure outcomes
• Act as executive-level voice of the customer for AWS platform consumers across teams
• Set platform strategy for capabilities, account vending, networking, IAM, security guardrails, observability, automation
• Drive prioritization balancing risk, resilience, cost, and velocity
• Align platform investments with business outcomes with security and compliance in mind
• Define platform success metrics and report outcomes to technology leadership
• Embed security, compliance, and resilience as default platform capabilities
• Influence enterprise cloud standards and governance forums as the product leader
