Job summary

KKR, a leading global investment firm, seeks a Vice President/Assistant Vice President for External Financial Reporting based in Boston. You will lead the Insurance-segment reporting and ensure filings meet SEC/GAAP standards within deadlines.

Report to the Director, Head of External Financial Reporting, partnering with finance and compliance teams. The role requires CPA, 10+ years of experience, and strong data management with Workiva, ERP platforms, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA required.
• 10+ years of cumulative work experience.
• SEC or GAAP reporting experience in life insurance or financial services preferred.
• Experience with Workiva data management and automation.
• Familiarity with ERP/consolidation platforms such as PeopleSoft, SAP, OneStream.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation, review or compilation of supporting documentation for quarterly and annual reports, MD&A, and earnings releases.
• Coordinate internal/external review of SEC and other financial reports.
• Maintain compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with analysis, policy, counsel, IR, treasury, audit teams.
• Provide ongoing analysis and improvements to regulatory processing and automation.
• Supervision and coaching of junior accountants/associates.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
