Job summary

Exoben Inc. is seeking a visionary VP, Autonomous Systems to lead the engineering and development of the company’s autonomous technologies. You will build systems that perceive environments, make decisions, and operate safely across real-world conditions.

You will oversee perception, decision-making, and system integration across vehicles, collaborating with software, hardware, and vehicle teams to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s plus 12–15 years in autonomous systems, AI or robotics.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, computer vision and control systems.
• Experience building systems for real-world deployment.
• Focus on safety, reliability and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and development of autonomous systems across Exoben’s mobility platform.
• Oversee perception systems including sensors, computer vision and data processing.
• Guide development of decision‑making and control systems.
• Ensure strong integration between autonomous systems and vehicle platforms.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to deliver complete systems.
• Oversee testing and validation under real-world conditions.
• Ensure systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance and improve accuracy, reliability and efficiency.
• Identify risks in autonomous operation and implement solutions early.
• Support deployment of autonomous systems in fleet operations.
• Build and lead a strong autonomous engineering team.
