Princeton Legal Search Group, LLC is conducting an exclusive search for an experienced Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Infectious Disease Franchise to join a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company in Connecticut. The hybrid role entails providing strategic legal counsel across regulatory, clinical, medical, and commercial functions to support product development and launches.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in at least one U.S. state.
• Ability to obtain CT in-house counsel registration.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant pharma/biopharma experience.
• Experience supporting regulatory and commercialization teams.
• Product launch experience strongly preferred; buy-and-bill experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and tactical legal counsel and business advice related to development and commercialization of the company’s products.
• Advise on FDA and global regulatory matters and ensure compliance with laws and industry standards.
• Provide legal counsel on health care laws and related obligations (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, Sunshine Act).
• Draft and review materials for clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and communications.
• Train and advise Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams on compliant strategies and materials.
• Review materials for Corporate Affairs and communications, including social posts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead or support internal investigations; manage outside counsel resources and budgets; oversee potential team leadership.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Licensed attorney in at least one U.S. state

CT in-house counsel registration ability
