Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President for Anti-Corruption and U.S. Government Contracting to join the Financial Crimes Compliance team. The role is based in Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, PA, or Lake Mary, FL and focuses on anti-bribery and pay-to-play compliance within government-related activities.

You will develop and oversee the anti-corruption program, advise senior stakeholders, and help implement risk-based controls across the organization, aligning with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; JD or Master’s degree preferred.
• 10–12 years of professional experience in financial crimes compliance or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on anti-bribery and corruption compliance requirements, including pay-to-play laws and political contributions.
• Support development and enhancement of BNY’s anti-corruption framework, policies and controls.
• Advise business lines on U.S. government contracts, risk scenarios and escalations involving gifts, third parties and procurement lobbying.
• Assess risk related to bribery, corruption and pay-to-play, and recommend controls and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor regulatory developments and inform program enhancements and governance.
