Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President-level Anti-Corruption Group Officer within Global Financial Crimes to design, implement, and maintain the firm’s anti-corruption compliance programs. You will oversee policies, controls, and governance across the Americas and coordinate with regional GFC teams.

You’ll apply expertise in FCPA and UK Bribery Act to ensure robust enterprise-wide compliance, while engaging regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of anti-corruption compliance, legal, or risk experience at a financial institution, law firm, regulator, or major advisory firm.
• Practical working knowledge of anti-corruption laws including FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while coordinating as part of a global program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and diligent.
• Experience with surveillance, monitoring and testing, assessments, and data analytics.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement the global anti-corruption compliance program across all Americas business units, advising on compliance with anti-bribery and corruption laws, regulations, and policies.
• Conduct review, pre-clearance, and monitoring of third-party intermediaries.
• Review escalations regarding client-related expenditures (gifts, meals, entertainment, events, conferences, charitable contributions).
• Conduct risk-based review of anti-corruption issues related to offers of employment.
• Liaise with GFC colleagues on transactional/client-related issues.
• Provide analytical, administrative, and organizational support for ongoing ACG initiatives, including risk assessments and program monitoring.
• Support the Americas Head of ACG in regulator, internal audit, and testing requests.
