Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer within RM&C to drive cloud-native analytics and end-to-end Databricks pipelines. You will design a governed Lakehouse, ingest data with PySpark, and enable self-service analytics for business teams.

You will partner with data product owners, apply strong data governance, and deliver executive dashboards in Tableau/Sigma, while guiding enablement and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years in data/analytics engineering or BI in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on ETL/pipeline design, development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced SQL, including writing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Databricks Lakehouse architecture, including pipelines, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Enterprise BI/visualization with Tableau and/or Sigma.
• Strong schema/modeling experience for integrated datasets and data mesh concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
• Experience with data governance, cataloging, lineage, and entitlements.
• Experience implementing a Databricks strategy in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end pipelines on Databricks using DLT, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog for governance and access controls.
• Build ingestion/integration pipelines in Python/PySpark to bring data into the Lakehouse.
• Design a governed self-service layer in Databricks SQL for business users.
• Ensure data governance in partnership with data product owners and data architects.
• Advise on cloud analytics strategies and enablement patterns for Databricks users.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders and translate data into narratives and decisions.
• Deliver executive-ready dashboards in Tableau or Sigma on Databricks data.
• Use AI tooling while maintaining independent technical ownership.
