Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Corporate Vice President of Solution Engineering & Architecture to lead target-state architectures for AI-enabled transformations. You will translate business strategy into scalable, secure architectural patterns and drive cross-domain coherence across investments, data, and analytics.

You will shape reusable patterns, govern engineering guardrails, and guide rapid prototyping to accelerate delivery while reducing risk.

Qualifications

Mastery of target-state architectures and actionable engineering patterns.
Experience translating business strategy into coherent technology solutions.
Proven ability to lead complex enterprise transformations across domains.

Responsibilities

Own target-state solution architecture and coherence across domains and teams.
Translate strategies into executable architectures, patterns and guardrails.
Lead architecture decisions across applications, APIs, cloud, data, AI, security and resiliency.
Use rapid prototyping to validate architectural hypotheses before scaling.
Partner with Domain Leads to align investment workflows and data architecture.
Lead and mentor senior engineers and architects across federated teams.
