Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President to lead Risk and Compliance Analytics Reporting in New York. You will centralize data, build dashboards, and deliver actionable intelligence to support decision-making across Global Compliance, FCC, and Sanctions.

You’ll partner with data owners, Engineering, and Compliance, leverage AI insights, oversee data governance, and guide validation of AI outputs while mentoring teams and advancing reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, math, engineering, CS or equivalent.
• 5+ years of total work experience preferred.
• Strong organization, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Python or other data querying tools.
• Knowledge of data environments and big data processes is preferred.
• Familiar with BI data management and visualization (Power BI).
• Experience with issue management systems (JIRA, ServiceNow).
• Familiar with logical data models.
• Ability to perform scenario analysis and propose solutions.
• Competency with data governance processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Centralize data, metrics, and reporting for Compliance, FCC, and Sanctions.
• Build dashboards, reporting, and admin tools for actionable intelligence.
• Manage data owners and document data use requirements for metrics.
• Use AI insights to redesign compliance and reporting processes.
• Perform testing and coordinate user acceptance of new datasets/reports.
• Collaborate with Risk & Compliance AI community and support training.
• Oversee data governance, integrity, availability, and AI validation.
