Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a VP-level AI Architect to define and drive a modern AI-first architecture spanning business units, products, and platforms.

You will translate priorities into practical designs, establish foundations, and guide implementation across teams at scale. Your role requires deep systems expertise, leadership across multiple products, and a track record of delivering production AI systems with secure, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering across multiple products.
• Experience designing production AI systems including generative or agentic applications.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering.
• Experience with model integration, inference serving, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Ability to align senior stakeholders and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap.
• Establish shared interfaces and drive cross-unit consistency.
• Design and build full-stack AI and agentic systems.
• Connect models to agent runtimes, memory, tools, and execution environments.
• Develop prototypes and production reference implementations.
• Architect production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scale.
• Guide deployment choices across cloud and edge environments.
• Create a consistent developer experience with reusable components and APIs.
• Mentor engineers and review designs and code.
• Define AI lifecycle architecture from data to deployment.
• Establish observability and quality gates for model and agent metrics.
• Build safe rollout, rollback, and recovery into production systems.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability into AI architectures.
• Define permissions and address prompt injection and data exposure.
