Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking a Vice President, Agricultural Lender to lead lending activities across California's farming sectors. You will develop and manage an agricultural loan portfolio, originate and structure loans, and guide clients from initial assessment through closing in a field-heavy role.

You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows to deliver tailored financing for operating lines, equipment, real estate, and expansion projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of agricultural, commercial, or agribusiness lending experience.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.
• Proven ability to develop business and grow a loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high-quality agricultural loan portfolio.
• Build lasting relationships with growers, producers, ranchers, and agribusiness owners throughout Northern California.
• Originate, structure, underwrite, and close commercial and agricultural loans.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, collateral, and credit risk.
• Deliver customized financing solutions for operating lines, equipment, real estate, livestock, permanent plantings, and expansion projects.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, industry events, and community involvement.
• Collaborate with credit partners to structure complex transactions.
• Monitor portfolio performance while maintaining exceptional credit quality.
• Stay informed on agricultural markets, commodities, and industry trends.
• Represent the organization as a trusted advisor within the agricultural community.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of agricultural, commercial, or agribusiness lending experience.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.
• Proven ability to develop business and grow a loan portfolio.
• Knowledge of California agriculture and agricultural production is highly preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for serving agricultural clients.
