Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, be CPA-certified, and bring 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting or industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
• Active CPA certification is required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and technical accounting research.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment.
• Experience within financial services, transaction advisory, accounting consulting, or related environments.
• Forward thinking mindset with an interest in leveraging technology, automation, and innovative tools to improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting guidance and support for complex transactions, new business initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Evaluate technical accounting matters and determine appropriate financial reporting treatment for unique or non routine events.
• Assess acquisitions, investments, and business arrangements to ensure accurate accounting and disclosure practices.
• Lead implementation efforts related to new accounting regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and team development efforts to enhance operational effectiveness.
