Job summary

Blackstone is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to serve as a primary contact for a group of clients with customized absolute return portfolios. The role focuses on recurring client meetings to discuss performance, attribution, and objectives, coordinating with BXMA teams to align portfolios with long-term goals.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in hedge funds, strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage ad hoc projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hedge fund industry experience, preferably as an allocator or direct investor.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large amounts of performance and risk data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recurring client meetings to discuss portfolio performance and attribution, opportunity set, and client objectives.
• Liaise with Institutional Client Solutions and BXMA teams to ensure portfolios are positioned to meet long‑term client objectives.
• Translate performance and risk data into clear insights for clients.
