Job summary

Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, seeks a New York-based Vice President in Investor Relations/Business Development and Analytics to deliver client service, develop materials, and enhance reporting. This role partners with senior stakeholders to blend investment insight with client communication.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, or alternatives.
• Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in STEM, Finance, or Economics (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Sound judgment and ability to work independently on ad hoc projects.
• Experience managing direct reports and providing mentorship.
• Strong quantitative and coding skills (Python/SQL) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service with timely, high-quality reporting and ad hoc responses.
• Advance business development by creating strategic marketing materials for prospects.
• Enhance operational excellence by developing tools and automation to improve deliverables.
• Lead, mentor, and train analysts and associates within the team.
• Oversee and deliver client reporting for commingled funds and customized accounts.
