Job summary

The Colorado Democratic Party is seeking a Data and Volunteer Coordinator in Colorado to support the Voter Protection program. You will organize data for poll watchers, help credentialing with clerks, and manage volunteer lists and trainings.

You will coordinate with county officials and party staff to ensure accurate records, timely communication, and efficient deployment of volunteers in targeted counties during elections.

Qualifications

• Experience with managing large volumes of data related to volunteers.
• Demonstrated experience with using votebuilder and LBJ.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, and Zoom events registration.
• Familiarity with Colorado election law or willingness to learn quickly.
• Political organizing and/or campaign experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Voter Protection Director with organizing and processing data related to poll watchers.
• Train poll watchers and coordinate with county clerks and local party officers for credentialing.
• Create and submit volunteer lists, track training, and communicate with county officials.
• Distribute appointment credentials and training certificates to volunteers.
• Schedule volunteers on Election Day and during Early Voting in LBJ.
• Communicate shift assignments and respond to questions from watchers and field staff.
• Build relationships with county election administrators and gather election process information.
• Collaborate on a centralized database of polling locations and drop boxes.
• Support the Voter Protection boiler room operations during active elections.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete other assigned tasks.
