Job summary

Voter Education Project is seeking a Paid Canvass Lead to coach and support a team of canvassers for door-to-door outreach and phone banking in Las Vegas. You will collaborate with the Canvass Manager to motivate the team, ensure accurate data collection, and maintain a results‑driven field environment.

The role requires experience in canvassing or community organizing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in political canvassing, community organizing, or voter outreach.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a team preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate others in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of canvassers during daily door-to-door outreach and phone banking.
• Assist with onboarding and training new canvassers on messaging, best practices, and data collection.
• Provide in-field coaching and feedback to help canvassers hit daily goals.
• Monitor team productivity and communicate progress to the Canvass Manager.
• Ensure canvassers record voter interactions in campaign databases and software.
• Maintain a positive, professional team environment.
• Assist with field logistics, materials, and turf assignments.
• Serve as a field point of contact for questions and issues.
