Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least one year of related experience.
  • Experience with voter engagement or community outreach preferred.
  • Ability to travel across NYC and work evenings/weekends as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse communities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead outreach and community events to promote NYC Votes and increase voter participation.
  • Conduct regular outreach activities in priority neighborhoods to strengthen awareness and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with Education team to identify high-impact partners and co-create outreach plans.
  • Organize voter registration drives across the city, coordinating staff, interns, partners, and volunteers.
  • Support identification of new partners aligned with priority communities.
  • Respond to voter inquiries with accurate election information.
