FUNetix is a patented, science-based, and simplified way of teaching reading to children, available to parents and children worldwide. The app is accessible via the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon App Store.

FUNetix is 19 years old but rooted in ancient methodologies that show readers how to see the hidden sounds in words. It borrows from the Greek diacritics system, adapted to English, to help children map sounds to letters systematically, making decoding easier.

This initiative is part of the American Youth Literacy Foundation, a volunteer 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2008. Our mission is to ensure all children in America learn to read by the end of 3rd grade, aiming to eradicate illiteracy and promote educational parity nationwide.

The free FUNetix app enables children to learn to read in about 12 hours of play. It has helped thousands since its creation, and during the pandemic, we developed an immersive, animated, and gamified version to aid children in learning to read from basic to 2nd-grade level.

We are expanding our team and are seeking a skilled Webmaster.

The Webmaster will ensure the FUNetix website is functional, user-friendly, visually appealing, and current. They will also support communication efforts and resource accessibility for diverse audiences.
